So I was scrolling down on Pinterest, just because, when I saw this Pin that caught my eye. It said, “23 Feelings People Feel, but can’t Explain.” I read it and I thought it was fascinating! I remembered, also, the movie Inside Out by Disney when I read this. For those of you who haven’t watched it, it is about a girl named Riley and her emotions are put into people. Anger, Sadness, Joy, Fear, and Disgust. They can all make memories which are transported to “Long-Term Memory.” You get the idea. Anyways, these words got me thinking; humans do not have straightforward emotions, right? We can’t just feel sadness, joy, anger, etc. We have complex brains and nervous systems. We can feel many things, some of them at the same time. Such as that sense of time in a place you used to call home, or the feeling of strange wistfulness when you’ve been friend zoned; isn’t that right? 😛 My point is, humans were not built to feel things in black and white, we color outside of the lines.

As soon as I saw these words, I thought, “Wow, it’d be cool to feel all of those things.” That’s my new goal, or my New Year’s resolution. I would like to feel all of these things, obscure feelings that once had no name. I know some of them are not so great feelings, but if you’re never unhappy how can you be sure that you ARE happy, right?

Hope you enjoyed the excursion into the wonderfully chaotic tornado that is my mind! 🙂

Hello! I'm a young teenager who has one dream; to make people happy! I want to write something that people want to read, something that will inspire them to keep fighting. Thank you so much for reading and supporting me!
