“And into the forest I go to lose my mind and find my soul.” Like I was saying yesterday, humans really are a part of nature, as well, not just trees and waterfalls and the rest. It would really be a treat to go into a forest alone, without fear of getting lost, and just being. It implies, also, that we can ‘lose our minds.’ I think that has a valid point; people are made to be with other people, if we are isolated with just our thoughts, I would probably go crazy. I don’t think that is exactly what this quote means, but that is what it somewhat implies. ‘Find my soul’ is yet another example that humans are a part of nature. If we take time to see nature as it is, a terrifying, yet beautiful, and enormous thing, we feel very insignificant. I think that nature is a huge part of acceptance of self. It was for me, at least.
Number 7! I will not be doing a nature quote tomorrow, since I think I am repeating myself a little. 🙂 Hope you enjoyed this quote; it’s one of my favorites.
