Broken crayons still color.

I have seen this quote all over, and it’s very popular.  I love it, and the first time I saw it, I stopped right in my tracks.  I love the symbolism behind this.  Warning; Off topic!!  Funny story to brighten your day; my mother likes tomatoes and other things that I don’t.  I told her that her taste buds must be like worn-down, old crayons because when she was my age, she didn’t like those things either.  It means that even though a person is broken they still have potential.  No one is completely gone, I think.  There’s good in everyone, there’s bad in everyone.  That’s life.  But don’t judge someone just because they’re broken, inside or outside.  Because they can color just as or brighter than you.

Yours in writing,

Adrienne Parker
