I agree with this. The world wants women who are beautiful, thin, and rich. Who cares what their personalities are like? But I think if I was a man, I’d want someone who would listen to me, who would sympathize, who would joke, who would be smart, who would be there no matter what. Personality matters more than beauty. There is a lot of things against women, not near as much as there was in the 1800’s, when they were given little choices. I’m not sure how much there is against men these days, but I think they are a little better off than women. They are judged on their looks, this much I know. Probably their cars and money, more so than women. But what I’m trying to say, is that you should be your own person. I know this is past cliche, but be yourself. That is truly good advice. If you love books and learning, don’t hide it. People may call you a “nerd” but who cares?
