I honestly agree with this 137%. Music is beautiful, and sometimes, when I think too hard, I wonder why. It’s just like talking, except you squeeze your voice box harder or softer. But it is wonderful, that sweet, sweet sound. I’ve heard some truly amazing voices, some who don’t even know that they are angelic. Music drowns out the rest of the world. There’s a saying that goes like this; “I can’t explain my feelings, but I can find a song that can.” and it’s so true. You can put your heart and soul into music, and other people can feel that. Music also gives you a source of pride. I will tell you that, to this day, I’ve never felt anything better than the feeling I have when someone tells me with wide eyes, “You have a really good voice.” especially when I don’t know when I am singing with that “soaring” voice. About that, when I hit high notes, my voice changes and I can hit them so it rings throughout the room. (SIDE STORY; I was on the bus coming home from a track meet, and the girls started playing music with a speaker. I started singing, and several people turned around and told me I had a beautiful voice. It made me embarrassed, but it is really a wonderful feeling.) I love music so much, it really help me when I’m feeling down. It eases pain like morphine.
Quote 26, do you guys agree with me? I’ve never met a person who doesn’t like music, so I am guessing you do…. 🙂
